Affidavit of support?

Do I need to send an affidavit of support (form on you website) to a
relative in India for the purpose of enabling the relative to obtain a
visitor's visa (From US embassy) to attend my daughter's wedding? Or just an invitation letter would suffice. Please advise. Thanks in advance

You need an affidavit of support if you are sponsoring them. If they are
sponsoring themselves, affidavit of support is not needed.
