My Mother use to work as teacher (private) now she is not working what i should mention in the occupation column.
Please advise

write retired, if she is retired. if u want to show that she is working, you need to provide all the necessary documents like, pay slips, tax returns,etc.

also if she is not working, she need to show other ties back in India, like aged person to take care of, unmarried daughter, etc.

but she was never givernment employee , she worked only as private teacher
can i mention Retired?? for that reason.

When you say private, does it mean private institute? If so, retired can be written.
