Self sponsor - Mom does not work

Hi

I have this question regarding self-sponsorship:

I don't have sufficient money in bank in US as I had sent money to India recently to my mom's account in India.

Now I am asking her to self-sponsor instead of me sponsoring her.

Is there any problem if I do like this?

My mom is 66 and she draws pension now. She does not have tax returns etc.
