Port of Entry

Hi all,
I have a question, My eldest sister invited my mom and she lives in FL. Some of our relatives are visiting NC and we want my mother to travel with them and go to NC as my other sister lives there.

will this be a problem? is she supposed to go to the place where she was invited from. will she have any problems at port of entry.

there should'nt be any problem at port of entry. Your mother can stop at NC
