  • Visitor Visa approved after Refusal

I am happy that my inlaws finally got their Visa approved after trying it 3 times.

    MIL, FIL- 2002 - Rejected.
    MIL alone - 2005 - Rejected.
    MIL, FIL - 2007 - Approved

Heard that the Visa Officer was a very nice lady.... Asked them the following questions:

    Where is your son working?
(The VO felt happy for the answer)
How long has he been in US?
    xxxxxx
How many children do you have and where do they live?
Two sons -one in India, one in US.
When are you planning to get your other son married?
    Pretty soon.
Who else lives with you in India?
    xxxxxxx
Why do you want to go to US now?
Our Granddaughter wants us to come visit the Beautiful Country that she lives in......We really want to visit all the places with her........Mom almost got tears telling the VO this answer.......
VO smiled and said - Don't worry......You can visit her soon......Pl. go and pay the draft

Did not check any paper work - not even once - even though they were ready....
Its really very exciting for us - as we were frustrated with previous refusals.....
