Hello All

Today (2/21/07) my MIL had an interview, They interviewed
her for 1.5 hrs and took her passport and form 156 and they said they will send the passport by mail and returned all the documents including the Rs 322 DD,
Now i am confused why the DD was returned
as the website says the Rs. 322 DD is for service charge.

Does any one had the same situation or your comments are greatly appreciated.

as far as I remember, the courrier charges (either DD or by cash) will be collected even before the applicant goes to interview window.

first you pay that fee at one counter, you take a receipt and then go to a different counter where the documents will be verified and then finally you will be sent to the interview window. I don't know if anything has changed in recent days.
