reg police clearance certificate

Dear sir,
I HAVE ALREADY POSTED THIS but i dint get reply plz let me know
am i eligible to apply for police clearance certificate? as i am on b1/b2 and going to someother country from here.or do i need to get from my motherland ??

Call Indian consulate. They will issue the letter. check their website
