visitor visa question

Hi,

my mom got 10 yrs visitor visa.
As far as I know one cannot stay more than 6 months on B2 visa.

I am planning to keep my mom for 5 months in US then 1 month in India.
How long can I keep doing this. Will the immigration think this as suspect or potential immigrant and reject after few times.

The reason I am planning to do this is because my mom is alone in india. I will also make sure that she goes back to india after 5 months and will never extend the stay more than 5 1/2 month.

Is it safe to do this or will they reject mom after few times?

Visitor visa is for visiting not living in the U.S. If your mom stays here for 5 months, goes to india for a month and again comes back, the POE MIGHT NOT give her a 6 month stay again. If one spends 10 out of 12 months in the U.S, that person is practically living in the U.S. If the POE finds that out they might even cancel the B-2 visa.
