  • visitor visa for non-blood relative

    HI,
We want to sponsor our uncle who is like a Guruji for us to come to USA to visit us. I have a couple of questions regarding that:
    1. Can we mention in our invitation that we are going to have some classes conduted here?
    2. We are also planning that He will visit NewZealand first and from there come here to USA . Is it possible to come from NZ to USA on the visitor visa?

Early help will be very much appreciated
    thanks in advance
    sirisha

His visa success will depend mainly on his family and occupational ties in India.

1.To answer this , I must know what he does in India.
    2. Yes, he can. Once he has the visa he can travel to US from any country.

      visitor visa for non blood-relative.

      Thanks for the info.
He is a well known spiritual Guru in Andhrapradesh and he has some 6 to 7 ashrams in different parts of the state. He also has some organisations (religious non profit) registered in AP. He is a retired lecturer and is unmarried.
how is it possible for us to establish the fact that He will be definitely going back as there are so many disciples there in India.
thanks for the help in advance

He should carry evidence of his establishments in India; registration papers,
pictures, evidence of providing discourses in India (again, pictures, any docments attesting to that).
If he can show previous travel to other countries for the same purpose, that will increase his chances.
