Question about Visitor Visa

Hi,

I am planning to apply for my mother's and sister's visitor visa.

My sisters stays in AP while Mother stays in Orissa.so according to this my mother should be going to Kolkata while my sister should be going to Chennai for their visa interviews.

But as my mother has a hearing problem and she is old I wanted her to go along with my sister for the visa interview.

Can I take Kolkata as the interview place for both of them.What are the pros and cons in this.

Any help is appreciated.

Since they plan to travel together, and in view of your mom's hearing problem, I suggest they apply together at one consulate.

If one has not been denied a visa before and can speak fluent english,
one can apply at new delhi , mumbai or chennai even if not a resident of these 3 jurisdictions.
If your mother can speak english, both of them should take an appointment
at chennai.
