  • No Reason given for Rejection B2

I recently applied a Visitor Visa for my Mother and it was declined. im the only son (No siblings).Unfortunately they didnt give any reason or letter to my Mom.

when my mom asked the person they said they will give you a letter at the entrance.but they gave nothing.

We called the VFS office to find out the same and they said they couldnt trace any info regarding this issue. They could neither give any letter not could give any reason for this. They were unable to find in the system why it was rejected, which is surprising to me.
The question is, Is it right for them to decline a visa without giving any reason in writing or oral.

if any of have any idea please share/advice on this case.

    Regards,
    Ram

It is not right for them to deny without assigning a reason. After all you paid for the interview.
Like I read somewhere on a US govt website; visitor visa is granted as a privilege and not a right, so you cannot appeal or question them .

Most likely it would be 214b -- immigrant intent, because that is the commonest reason for denial and is broad in scope.

If it was an immigrant visa that they denied, by law they would have to provide an explanation.

Even my mother did not receive any letter for rejection

Last week my mother's visitor visa was rejected. They did not give any letter but they told her (she is widow and i am the only son) they are suspecting that she will not come back.
