VFS site not showing Dates for Non Eng int - Chennai

Please advise...

I have been facing probs in getting a int date setup for my mom for chennai consulate. My mom can speak in kannada. if any non-english language is selected, no dates seem to be available and the following message pops up

Interview Appointments not currently available, please check back in 24 hours. If you have an urgent need to travel, please consult Emergency appointment on this site.

I've been trying from past 2 weeks now.. and i've raised this with the site support and they come back with only 1 answer
"Kindly note that the seat allocation is the prerogative of the Embassy/Consulate. As and when the language dates are allocated by the Consulate, the same reflects on the VFS website. Keep checking the website for earliest available dates."

Has anyone faced this problem? how do we get to see the date? are there any few designated days on which this data is availble..please help as i was planning to get mom during april/may

Hi,

I had the same problem. You just have to keep trying. It took me several weeks before I could get an appointment date that was convenient for my mother. The program does not even allow us fill out DS 156 unless there was some date available. Good luck.
