Original Birth Certificate ?

Hi

My Parents and my in-laws are attending the interview for Tourist Visa in Chennai next month. Could you please clarify,whether it is really needed for my parents and in-laws to produce my and my wife's original birth certificate at the time of interview. Please clarify

Yes, your parents need to have your birth certificate and you in-laws need your wife's.

Here is the response from the Senior Member Peace :
bc is mandatory for a gc but not for a visitor visa. Some officers ask for it others do not. You can send a copy of old affidavits plus non-availalbility certificate plus X school cert with your dad's name on it.

Now I am confused whether to send originals or copy.

Can you please suggest whether you want me to send original or copies will do.
