visitor visa for mom

Hi

My mother have her visa appointment on 12th april. Myself and my sister are here in USA. My mother is a widow and lives alone there.

My sister is graduating in may and we want to bring my mother for her graduation cermony.

Im working here and im on h1b and my sister is studying.

Last time when we disclosed that both of us are here they didnt give visa, that time my mother's brother sponsored for her.

Most of them say student cant qualify for being a sponsor. But my sister have a decent bank balance of 6k and internship offer letters and w2.

Can she be the partial sponsor and my mother can be other partial sponsor ?

What are the chances of getting visa? or can i sponsor her visa?

Who do u think will be the best sponsor? so that we get a sure shot visa.

if we say one of us are in india will they know looking at past visa applications records in their system?

Dont Lie

Frankly as she has already tried once, they will have the record you both live here. So its not fair to lie to the VO. Make sure yr mom can sponsor herself and have enough ties back in india to go back(like a business or something).

I would suggest you sponsor her instead of yr sis. and dont mention about graduation ceremony. Thats not a acceptable reason for a US visit. Its going to be tough for yr mom as yu both are here and as she is a widow. But if luck is on her side, she will get it for sure. But make sure she is well prepared.
