Help Required DS 157

Hi,

I have a quetsion regarding field 3 in DS 157 form where it is required to fill in name in native alphabet.

I want to confirm that my mother should write her name in Devnagari (Marathi) on that form. (My parents' interview is in Mumbai consulate) Also can she write it by hand? (Rest of the form was filled online)
