mother's visa

my sister has just come for a 6 months to US. i have been in US for past 4 years on H4 visa.
my mother is planning to visit, but the problem is our visa is expirying in april end , we will renew it . But my mom wants to come in may , june as she is a teacher she can get vacation during that time. My question is:
1) can my mother get a visa based on our current visa status
2)can my cousin from father's side invite her based on some function in US (she has green card) .
3)should we wait for our extension and then apply.

please someone reply. i really need help. My dad has already got 10 yrs mutilple entry.So mom needs to go alone.

Your husband can sponsor. Apply for extension asap and send the receipt with rest of the papers. That will work better than a distant relative sponsoring.
