  • visa got rejected Twice.... Want to apply for 3rd time. Need your help.

    Hi All,
My parents visitor visa got rejected twice. Want to apply for 3rd time.

    Here are the details:
My Sister (Green Card Holder), Myself (H1B Holder) and my Brother (MS Student on OPT) are in US. Elder brother married with a kid is in India, who is staying with my parents.

First time my sister sponsored and they got rejected 214b is the reason
Second time I sponsored again they got rejected ...214b again.

    Now about my parents:
My dad passed away recently, now we are trying for my Mom's visitor visa. My dad was retired and Mom housewife when they attended visa last two times.

Now I would like to seek immihelp members help/suggestion on how to approach for third time visa request for my Mom.

This is what I am planning...
    1. My Brother finished MS but not yet graduated, so one of the plans is to use Graduation ceremony invitation and request visa for Mom
    2. Otherwise me or my sister will sponsor along with a letter from Congressman/Senator....I came to know that this will help for people with multiple rejections.

Given my situation, who should sponsor for better chances of getting visa. What precautions/steps I should take to get visa this time.

I wanted to seek your help before going for 3rd time...please provide your input.

    Thanks,
    Kumar.

Kumar, Both graduation ceremoney and Senator reasons are not going to help you. The best try would be,
    1. Give enough gap between rejections.
    2. Let your mom sponsor herself. You dont sponsor her. Have her enough cash in her account before applying.
    3. Most importantly have her some ties back in India (like small business, social service etc).

Have more than one kid itself is a big concern for the VO and your mom is widow too. so your mom has less chances compared to others. But the above facts and luck should help her. Good luck.
