    I agree.

    Hi,

My parents were rejected 5 times under Section 214 (b) citing "potential immigrants". I agree with the ideas/suggestions posted by Ricky. A bond would certainly help avoid fraud cases, and genuine applicants would be given a fair chance to unite with their families for a "limited" time.

Is there no way we can propose his suggestions to the members of the Government?

    Regards,
    Nikita.

Why doesn't the US govt do something about it ? There are long lines for US visitor visas all over the world.

I guess the answer is; US govt loves to collect the application fees so it does not bother taking any measures.

        Ricky,

My parents and Inlaws visa's got rejected 3 times in 2.5 yrs, So I applied for immigrant visa's for them about 3 months back and they already have a finger print appt, I guess it takes less than a year to get the GC.

Yes it is unfair denials even after showing ties back to the home country.
What ever PEACE said is true , I think the US consulates needs more and more application fees to operate the offices.

          Uncle Sam loves your Money

Yes, I totally agree with Peace and others that US government (Uncle Sam) loves to collect application fee from people repeatively apply for visiting visa. It makes no difference to them whether or not they stop illegal immigrant at the expense of geniune visitors' loss, as long as their pocket is full or budget is not in red. They are so indifferent to consider other more fair options, as it does not affect their interest. They can care less if peole with geniune intent got repeatively rejected for weak or no reason except the word "214b", an undefeatable stone gate they can use anytime they want to say No randomly.

Anyway, I will apply for my mother-in-law's GC in the future. I had no choice as they force us to apply for GC just for visiting purpose.
