Vistors Visa - how long is it valid?

I am planning to get my sister's family to US for 3 months visit. If they go for Visa in April/May and if they get let's say 3 months visa issued, then how long is that visa valid? I mean, if they get Visa in April/May 07, can they visit US in March 08 time frame?

They are anyway planning to go to chennai in April/May 07 and I would like to save their trip again just for visa.

Any info is appreciated.

Visa validity starts from date of issue.
It can be issued from 1 month 10 years

You can enter US even on the last day of your valid visa stamped on the passport.
