Hello everyone,
I am so happy my mother got visa at the Chennai consulate in her first attempt. Thanks everyone for the valuable information in this website.
She had a kannada appt. I was not having great hopes as my brother ( only son) is here and she is a widow.She was asked a few questions but the VO did not ask for any of her documents.
the questions she was asked were:
1. who are you visiting in US?
daughter
2. How many children you have
XX
3. Where are they
2 in US and XX in India
4. How do you get your income in india
I have property and lands.
5. How long ur daughter is in US
6 yrs.
How about your son? what does he do?
2 yrs, so and so.
7. What are you children in India doing?
so and so.
8. How long ago did your husband pass away?
XXyrs.
9. How long are you going to stay in US?
XX months
OK you are going to get your visa and ur passport will be mailed to you soon.
