Appointment language preference

Hi,

My friends parents are living in Andra Pradesh. His father can speak and understand English but not his mother. Is it ok to take appointment in English at Chennai consulate?. Somehow VFS is not showing any dates available for Telegu appointment.
I willl appreciate if someone can respond to this question.

Sometimes VO asks questions to both of them. So taking Telugu appointment will be better. Try for appointments on Mondays and on 1st and 15th of the Month. Normally it is available during early hours of EST/CST.
