Hotel Arrangements around the Mumbai Consulate

Hi,

I wanted to make some hotel arrangements for my parents and I found some information on Hotels around the Consulate on the website. I just wanted to know, based on anyone's experience...how can we arrangements of stay from US? Or does someone from Bombay needs to go personally to the hotel to make arrangements.

Also any recommendations on which hotel is good and reasonable..will be great!
