Urgent!!! DS 156 Correction, Please help

Hi,

My mother has interview scheduled in the 1st week of April. In the DS156 form for the question "When do you intend to arrive in the US", I wrongly put March 20, 2007. This will look odd. IS there any way this can be corrected? Will it matter? What is the remedy.

Hi ajaysri !

Except questions 1 to 14, You can make any modifications in the DS156 and DS157, 2 working days prior to the visa interview (For Mumbai consulate, its 5 working days)

I tried finding the edit option on the vfs web site to modify the application. Did not find it there. Where should I be looking for in the web site for modifying the application?

Hi ,
if you go into apply for non ummigrant visa.you will see BEP id page and then if you say no to it,it will take you to the next page where it will ask for
"retrieve save app",create new app..
try to retrieve your saved app by providing the required info.It will display DS156 and you will be able to edit the app.
