Help on Inviting Parent!!

Hi,

I am trying to apply for my father's tourist visa for a very short visit here.
Both me and my husband are working here in US and hold green cards.
My question is
1.Who should sponsor my father, me or my husband?
2.Who should invite him?

Because last time we tried for his Visa, the VO asked for the invitation letter from the daughter(me) too .It was my husband who sponsored him last time and the invitation letter was also from him.

Please let me know your experiences on this so that he can make it this time(hopefully!!) .

You have a direct realtionship with him, so you should send all the papers.
But make sure you have enough income to send an I-134.

Thank you for your reply. Could you please let me know how much income and bank balance are necessary. Because I have been working only for past three months.

IT is safer to have worked for at least a year.
YOu have two options;
1. YOur husband sponsors like last time and you send an invitation letter.
2. If your dad is rich (good income Rs 5-6 lacs a year), he should self sponsor.
