Hi,
In 2002, while I was getting married in US I tried to sponsor my dad,showed proof of my marriage arrangements, Visa rejected because 'Not enough proof that he will come back to India?'. Probably the docs I presented were not good enough. 2nd time with-in a month, I tried to show a small property and pension he receives but failed again.
Now after 5 years, I am trying again. This time to attend my Graduation Day. I completed MS from Stevens, NJ, and graduating on May 24th. Also, I am showing Rs 5.75 lakhs as my Dad's bank balance, and I am sending I-35 and other sponsorship docs along with Employment letter (8 years of service earning more than $100K), proof of my address (DL and house docs), My bank balance about $14,000. Also, I can prove I have one unmarried brother (his son) in India.
My mom died in 1989, my dad is 70 years old and very weak. I desperately want him here, I miss him and want to share my life with him, show him my house, wife, 3 kids and all the nice things I have. Father truly deserves after all the sacrifices he made for me to get here.
Any help or tips, I am emotionally very attached to him.
