  • Visa rejection for my mother

Mine is just another case of a mother's visa application getting rejected twice. My mother is a widow and is working, back in India, for a not-so-high salary. I am her only son. These are reasons enough for those guys at the consulate to reject the case!
I would, probably, wait for a year before asking her to apply for the visa again. Are there any tips that anyone can provide which will improve the possibility of my mother going through, the next time? I was also reading another forum which said that applying via a well known travel agent like Thomas Cook might help. Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Vijay.

Applying through a travel agent helped when they had the drop box facility.
Now everyone must appear for the interview, so it won't matter. The most important issue for her is to show something that will surely bring her back.

If she can start a small homebusiness(music, sewing, tutoring etc.), register it, employ a couple of people , file a tax return, run it for a year and then apply for a short visit of few weeks.
