Who can Notarise visitor visa related documents

Hi,

I am slightly confused on who can notarise the various affidavits?

The ones which are property related, explaining the reason of why they will come back and also what they will do in US.Who can notarise them ?

Is it required to be done on stamp paper ?


Birth certificate related affidavits ...who can notarise ?

Please advice as the interview date for the parents visitor visa is very near.

Hi Nimisha,

I guess all the banks will notarise and you can ask the bank you have checking/savings account in. or you can find individual notaries if you can search in google.

If you are in Bay area(California), I can give you the address of a notary where you can get your affidavits notarised.

Who can notarise in India

I am talking about affidavits made by visitor in India.
Who can notarise them ???Can any Advocate do it or we need to get it done by magistrate ???
esp in case of Birth certificate related affidavit.

If it is Birth Cerificate it has to be autoruised by SDM of the Locality where a person is born . other affidavies can be notarised from any where
