Looks like we need to get the fees paid at HDFC and get the receipt to fix the appointment.

1) Though they say that the forms are filled online....do you think I can fill the forms for my parents and take a print out and send it to them or is it done at the time of making appointment.

2) I am employed and so I can sponsoring for my parents. Is it enough to send only my docs or do I need to send my husband's docs also. I am not very clear on that. It doesn't harm to send but I don't want to give too much information.

Both are in H1B.

YES U CAN FILL IT ONLINE AND PRINT IT(156 to be back to back) AND SIGN IT AND SEND IT WITH OTHER DOCUMENTS.

YOU SPONSORING WOULD BE BETTER. PREPARE YR PARENTS FOR ALL POSSIBLE QUESTIONS. YOU CAN SEARCH THRU THIS FORUM. GOOD LUCK.

Please go to https://www.immihelp.com/us-visa-application-procedure/ and read through all the information there because the process is explained very clearly:

Step 1: Pay the fees at HDFC
Step 2: Go back to the website two working days later and fill up the forms
Step 3: Pick a time for the visa interview
Step 4: If you are filling the forms for the applicants then take print outs of the applications and send it to the applicant.
