I am sending my mom for her second visa interview. She got a 214(b) the first time on March 8, 2007. She is an active state government employee.
Major changes in the case are
1)The first time she was planning on visiting for 6 months but this time it is only for a month.
2) Also, my mom is going to sponsor her trip herself. Last time I sponsored.
My biggest concern is to show that we have enough reason to apply for second time so soon.
I work for a multinational mining company called Rio Tinto. I am in the graduate development program in this company. As a part of this program, I will be in USA for three years and then I might go anywhere worldwide. This is my 1st summer with the company in US, the next summer I am going to India to get married and the summer after that I may not be in US. And as my mom is a government school employee she can visit me/US only in summer. So, its now or never for my mom to come to USA.I took a letter from my company mentioning the same that I may not be in US after three years.
Does that sound a good reason to apply for second time???
