In-laws granted 10 yr multiple entry at Chennai
Finally, on thier 3rd attempt, my in-laws were granted a 10 year multiple entry visa at Chennai consulate. The interview was conducted through a telugu translator and apparently there were around 8 - 10 questions asked. Mostly about their daughters (one is in US and the other in India) and my FIL's employment.
My in-laws told me that a lady who claimed she was seeking visa to visit her pregnant daughter was granted the visa. Strange, indeed.
My advice to the fellow memebers, just do your paper work right and hope to get lucky. This tourist visa is 1% effort and 99% luck.
