Sponsor Tourist visa - query about D156 form

hi,

i am sponsoring tourist visa for my parents. While taking interview date from vfs site i filled up D156 form online. In D156 there is a question "Who will pay for your trip?" for which i entered "I will pay for my trip" meaning applicant will pay for the trip i.e, my parents will pay for their trip.

My questions are
1. Is it ok if i am sponsoring them and they are buying the tickets ?
2. What is the information they need to provide to be able to support that they have the money to buy the tickets ? is it required to prove ?

Friends, correct me if I am wrong here but AFAIK, "who will pay for the trip", does not necessarily mean tickets but means everything during their period of stay here. This includes but is not limited to tickets, domestic travel, insurance, food and shelter. So if they are paying for everything then you dont even need to sponsor them and they need to show money....If not, you would say "my daughter" under who will pay for your trip and also do an Affidavit of support from your side.....
