Dear all,

What level of detail is needed to be put in reply to the pink form 221(g)? For instance it says attach a complete CV or Resume. This is for a parent who is retired but still working. What are they really looking for when they ask us to do this? For instance, if the person has held very high positions in the company like a Vice President or a President in the past (now an Advisor/ Consultant for the same company), will it hurt his case by saying so? Or is the nature of the job (manufacturing/ design/ research) is what they are really looking for?

Someone, kindly reply.. the idea is definitely not to misrepresent facts.. but the question is what level of detail is really required? Need past data that is not valid any more be mentioned?

My dad recently received a similar 221g form. How long did it take for your parent to receive the visa once the resume was provided ? what kind of details did you add in the resume ? Any help is really appreciated !!
