Mom's Visitor visa

My mom has an appointment on may 10th at chennai consulate,Dad still in service.Mom is going alone for visa.Does she need to take docs regarding Dad's work ????
Mom is a housewife???Can anyone suggest what docs she needs to take with her.

I would say so too. It helps your mom's case to take your dad's work related documents. That would show strong ties to India and strengthen her claim to return to India. An employment letter from the company, a few pay slips and tax returns for one or two years would be sufficient.
