VFS complimentary fees of 200 rs at mumbai consulate

Hi,

My parents are apperaing for a Toursit visa interview at the mumbai consulate next week. Today they submitted their original Visa documents at the VFS office counter. Strangely, the VFS guys asked for 200 Rs for their bus service/ complementary beverage on the day of the interview.
My dad actually paid the fees and submitted the documents.

Has anyone heard about this? I have never heard about this service by VFS?

Yes it is a valid service

Yes, it is a valid service, once your parents gets to VFS offfice, after that they will take your parents to US consulate office in bus for interview.
