Incorrect Date of birth on Birth certificate

I am on H4 in US with my husband on H1.

I want to invite my parents. But my birth certficate shows a difference of 8 days than what my original birth date is. All other docs that I have (e.g. passport, school leaving certificate etc.) show my correct dob.

I read in the instructions (under birth certficate information on this web site) that I can submit my matriculation certificate as a secondary proof of evidence.

Does anyone have such an experience? Do you think it would really work okay?

I don't think they look at the birth certificates a lot so don't worry.
