Sponsoring Visistor Visa for parents with L2/EAD

Hi,
I'm on L2 and working here on EAD. I have my own bank a/c and filed tax returns this year. My husband is on L1.

1)Can I sponsor my parents visitor visa with L2/EAD?

2)My husbands a/c doesnt have enough funds to sponsor. Incase I cant sponsor, can I make my a/c joint now and take a statement. His salary doesnt come into this a/c though. Will this be an issue.

Pls help. Looking for an imm response.
