Urgent - Please help

Hi ,
My parents have multiple entry visitors visa which is valid for 10 years. They came last year and stayed for 4 months. This year thy are coming to U.S. next Monday.
Could anyone please reply to my below questions as I am confused now on the procedures ?

1. Can they have Air India open ticket ? Will this cause any problem ?

2. Does my parents have to goto Indian embassy for anything.Do they have to drop some papers or so?
3. In the port of entry, what the officer will ask. Do they have to provide / have any documents / photo copies or letter from me.

do I have to send my recent pay stubs, bank documents etc., Please let me know. I know we need all this for the first time visit.

Please reply if you know the answers as I am running out of time.

No need to go to the embassy. They should carry an invitation letter from you stating your visa status, job status, address etc. Also a copy of your visa.

I do not think they will have any problems because they seem to have
a good interval between two visits and their last stay was a reasonable 4 months. They do not ask tickets and papers from everyone. Only if they suspect immigrant intent. THey will be asked the same 2 qs, purpose of visit and duration of stay. answers should be visiting son/daughter for about 4 months.

THough it is always better to have a closed ticket as that shows intent to return, if it is too late for them for that, they should provide a plausible explanation if asked.
