Marriage certificate

Hi,

This is regarding the Visitor Visa application for my parents. I dont see Marriage Certificate in the list of required docs but I see some reference on these docs on some of the posts.

My parents don't have marriage certificate. Would affidavit suffice? Where can I get the details about the format of affidavit ?

It is not mandatory. In high fraud countries, some officers may ask for it to make sure they are actually husband and wife.
Even now they can register their marriage. If it is not possible, they can
take affidavit and marriage pictures.
