Hi All
My in-laws have got the visitor visa on 2nd attempt.. they have gone to chennai on May 11th 2007 in telugu and were rejected.
There is one indian lady - looks like a nun and she was rejecting to everyone in telugu interview without any reasons...and many people afraid to go to her.
First time (When rejected)- Questions Asked
================================
VO:Who stays in US?
Parents: My daugher & son-in-law
VO: How many children you have?
Parents: One son and one daughter and daughter in US and son in India
VO:What does your son-in-law do ?
Parents: He is working for Kanbay Inc.
VO: What is your son studying?
Parents: He is pursuing degree in open university
VO responded to my in-laws saying she was not satisfied and returned back the passport.
VO was so reluctant that she was not listening to my in-laws for what they are answering,And many people inside the consulate indicated my in-laws saying not to go to that lady.
2nd Attempt
===========
Took appointment again on 1st June 2007 this time it was in English. In-laws reached the consulate 15 mins before.. but due to huge rush they have waited for almost 3 hours outside ( Interview was scheduled at 12:15 and they came out at 3:30PM)
Unfortunately this time even though it was english my inlaws were asked to go at the same counter were in it was the same VO who rejected earlier.. and some how my father-in-law requested the guy who was redirecting to various counters in the queue. And luckily they were asked to go at different counter.
And the VO was an american young guy and he was so polite and friendly.
