for reentry - homecountry/canada????

I wish to know if a person with visitor visa can go to Canada and come back after 6 months stay in US rather than go to home country and come back. As one has to go out of the country to come back, will Canada do? or should one go to home country and come back??

Can you clarify your question. How long will the stay be outside USA?

Not advised. You can be stopped and you will have to catch your flight back home from canada. If you were visiting canada for a short period in the middle of your 6 month stay in US like in the 3rd or 4th month , it could be possible.

As peace said: won't work. Don't even try it. Nor try to go to Mexico. DHS officers don't like it and will certainly send you back the way you came.
