Applying for visitor visa for my mom who has already applied for immigration in 2000

Hi,
My grandpa filed for immigration on behalf of my mom back in 2000 and thats still in processing.
My mom has no interest in immigrating to the US but would like to visit this summer for about 2 months.
I have booked her appointment this month end and have sent all the documents necessary for both me and my younger sister.
I am working and on my H1B and my sister is on her F1.
My dad is not visiting and is staying back in Chennai.
I have doubts as to whether she will be granted visa since she had applied for immigration.
I am hoping that they wouldnt see her as a potential immigrant since my dad is staying back in Chennai.
She also has her younger brother here who is a citizen.
My grandpa who is also a citizen is in India right now though.
Kindly advise.

It would be extremely difficult for a person to get visitors visa for whom immigration petition has been filed.
