  • Address Change and cover letter

My parents visa is this week. My parents have moved their house few months ago and hence the address in their passport is different from current address mentioned in the DS156 and other forms. But we do not have any proof for current residential addres including Electricity/phone bill etc, except the lease agreement for the house that my parents are currently residing at.Am not sure what else can be shown as proof.

1)Will they be asked at the interview for proof of current residence, if asked can they tell that since they recently moved to the new address, they do not yet have any proof for the same?

2)Is its advisable to send two different cover letters for both mother and father ( even they they are attending interview together)?

3)Is it just enough if my parents sign the cover letter, and they dont have to get it notarized unlike other formal letters?

    Thanks

    1) That is enough proof, just take copies (normally not an issue)
    2) Separate letters not needed.
    3) Just signature is enough
