Self Sponsored Visitor's Visa

Hi,

My parents are planning to visit us sometime in July. They are planning to self sponsor their trip. What documents they need for that? Also, are their chances of getting Visa are high if we sponsor their trip (I am on students Visa here)?

I really appreciate your help.
