Different Family Name

Hi,
My Parents are going for Visit Visa interview(Telugu) next month. My last name has addition character "a" than my parents last name (it was added by mistake in my ssc certificate and continued that way). I am just trying to find out if it is going to cause any confusion or is there anything that I need to do.
