passport expiring

i have a B1 B2 visa for USAstamped in May 2006 for 10 years multiple entry. My passport expires on 9th October.2007. I wish to travel to USA before that i.e from 31st July to 14th September2007. i intend to be back in India one monthsbefore expiryt of my passport. Will I be allowed to visit USA in such circumstances of my passport validity or I will be denied by immigration in India and entry in USA. please advise asap.

It is always adviceable to have a passport that has atleast 6 months validity from the date of your entry to US.

Since you have atleast 1 month period in between, you better apply for a new passport and travel to US.
