H1b under 221g i have I-94 i need extend

my H1 is under 221g (I think departmental enquairy)in chennai consulate from november 2006 ,mean time i came to us by B1/B2 visa for three months to write a exam.there is any chance i can extend my I-94 with the base of my H1b

If the reason for your teavel to US is to write examination, you better be leaving US before expiry of your I-94.
Since you can not use the pending H1B consular process as a reason, your application for extention have higher chances of rejection.
Dont risk it, pal!
