DS-156 Section 37

1- My mother is a green card holder. She is currently in U.S. and will be back to my country at the time of my interview. What shall I write in section 37? Does a YES mean she is in US or simply means she is a green card holder?

2- I have two brothers in U.S.
One is a green card holder and the other one a U.S. Citizen.
Section 37 only allows one entry for brothers.
Which one should I mention?
(I have filled section 24 with my green card holder brother's address)

1 - You need to click <yes> and select <mother> and you need to write <LPR> (short form of Legal Permanant Resident). Here it is immaterial whether your LPR mother is in US or not, unless otherwise your mother renounces her Green Card.
2 - Just fill in the data of your brother, who sponsors you
