need help my H1 B going to exp on sep 30 2007

Hi,

My H1 B is going to expire on Sep 30 2007 and my company statred processing for my extension and they are not updating me with the status even though i followed up many times. I have previous receipt number, Can i apply tourist visa for my inlaws.Any idea can be highly appreciated.

As long as you have legal status in US at the time of sponsoring someone, you are fine.
