mentioned 'group visa' by mistake in visa application

hello
my parents got their visa interview date. since my mother's sister too has planned for a visit at the same time, they have applied it together. in the application they have opted for 'group visa', thinking the 3 of them could go together for the interview. their destination(within US) is diff. their interview date and time is confirmed. my only concern is, the term group visa is for 'atheletes or performers' going in a group(pls correct me if i'm wrong)
so will this have any effect on their visa approval. is there anything we could do now? or shld they justify this in their interview?
any advice would be of great help. please do reply ASAP

You need to get this corrected. You may have to cancel the appointment and take a new one.

if you took appointment for B2 visitor but have more than one family member going then they can take group appointment no issues.
