Urgent help needed for Cancellation of the appointment

Hi all,

My parents have a tourist VISA Interview appointment on 30th July 2007 at US embassy, Delhi. They need to cancel the appointment due to some medical reasons. When I try to cancel the appointment online through VFS website it is not letting me do that it says that "You cannot reschedule/cancel your saved application with in 2 working days before the date of your interview. ". Is there any way to cancel the appointment? Any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated.

You cannot cancel your confirmed appointment 2 working days (mumbai 5 working days) before the interview date.

If you really feel your parents cannot attend the interview, you need not send them for interview on 30th July.

What you can do is, on 1st of August, go to VFS delhi (or whichever place near to your home) pay Rs. 155/- for each applicant to activate their HDFC receipt.
You have all VFS addresses in VFS website.

you cannot reschedule an appointment within2 working days of the appointment. do what Rathi has suggested, but when you go to the VFS location, provide a very good reason for not showing up for the interview. here is a link from the vfs site that will be useful to you. read the "NO SHOW" applicants section...
